Courses & Accreditation

To gain accreditation as a coach you will need to complete an official coaches course.

They are as follows:

Community Coach

An entry-level course that helps you teach the basic fundamentals of basketball. To complete the course online, please click here.

Club Coach

A basic level course that begins to touch on team concepts. Has both online and in person components.

Association Coach

A representative-level course that is required for coaches looking to represent their state or territory. This course takes 2 days and also includes a written and on-court assessment.

High Performance

Elite Level course that is recommended for state/territory High Performance managers, as well as professional and junior national team coaches. This course is by invitation only.

Master Coach

Master level is only awarded to coaches who have head coached at multiple world championships or Olympics.
